I.A.Bunin remains to be a poet in the prose writing that is no more an opening for the researchers. His prosaic texts are of lyrical origin. There are revealed the peculiarities of the lyrical portrait created by I.A.Bunin and in the small prose, in particular in the stories Renunciation Night and Prelate.
